HOW TO REACH GENOA:

By train: The railway stations of Genova Piazza Principe and Genova Brignole are both only a 10/15-minute walk from the historical centre.

By car: The historical centre of Genoa is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL). If you arrive by car, you must park it outside the historical centre, for example at the Porto Antico car park and then walk to the centre, or in one of the covered pay carparks, such as the one in Piazza Piccapietra.

By plane: Cristoforo Colombo Airport is about 6 km from Piazza Principe Railway Station and is also well connected to the centre by bus (the ‘VolaBus’ shuttle arrives at the Busitalia station near the Piazza Principe Railway station).

 

HOW TO REACH BUSALLA:

By train: There are a number of trains per day from Genoa and from Turin which stop at the Busalla Railway Station.

By car: Take the A7 motorway from GENOA to SERRAVALLE SCRIVIA and exit at the Busalla motorway exit

By plane: The closest airport is the Cristoforo Colombo Airport in Genoa. Alternatively, you can fly into Turin Airport or Orio al Serio Airport (Bergamo) if arriving from the North.


HOW TO REACH CHIAVARI:

By train: Depending on where you are coming from, see www.trenitalia.com

By car: The Chiavari motorway exit is located on the A12 motorway in the section between Genoa (A7 and A21 connection) and La Spezia (A15 connection).

By plane: Chiavari is located about 40 km from Genoa’s Cristoforo Colombo Airport and can be reached by a direct train connection from Genoa Piazza Principe or Genoa Brignole railway station. From the airport to the Genoa Piazza Principe or Genoa Brignole railway stations you can take the VOLABUS shuttle bus.

HOW TO REACH  NERVI:

By train: From Genoa, there are regional and Intercity trains every hour going to Levante (eastern part of town) and they all stop at Nervi Railway Station (which is right at the beginning of the entrance to the Parks and on the seaside promenade.

By car: From the centre drive eastward along Corso Italia or eastward along Corso Europa through the neighbourhoods of Albaro, Sturla, Quarto, and Quinto. If you are arriving on the motorway, the Nervi motorway exit is on the A12 in the section between Genoa (A7 and A21 connection) and La Spezia (A15 connection).

By plane: Nervi is about 18 km from Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport and can be reached by a direct train connection from the Genoa Piazza Principe or Genoa Brignole Railway Stations. You can also reach the Piazza Principe or Genoa Brignole Railway Stations in Genoa with the VOLABUS shuttle bus.
